Resistance grading
The core textile technology behind heat proof gloves is heat resistance. By nature of their design, they also have varying degrees of chemical resistance.
Here’s how our two heat resistant gloves vary by function, at a glance:
Neo Heat 250
These 38cm gloves are resistant to heat up to 250°C. When the glove is in contact with material up to this temperature, it takes more than 15 seconds for the internal temperature of the glove to increase by 10°C.
The glove has been tested to EN374-2 Resistance to Permeation by Chemicals and EN388 for protection from mechanical risks. The results for these tests can be viewed on the Neo Heat 250 product page.
Neo Heat 350
Heat 350 a slightly shorter glove offering heat resistance up to 350°C, and has added protections against cuts and abrasions. Like the Neo Heat 250, this product takes more than 15 seconds to raise the internal temperature by 10°C when handling 350°C material directly.
